MORE NOTES For the phono cables, hold the b.o.b. and push in the cables with a slight twist. Remove with a slight twist as well. Use care to hold the s-video cable the right way, usually with the flat side up(towards the label). For longer distances, higher quality cables are recommended. The 8 bit monitor plug inserts into the jack (on the right side or center back) with the 5 pins at the bottom. Note that some 8 bit models do not have monitor jacks. And some with the jacks do not have the chroma line connected. Testing has shown that a short jumper between the video and chroma jacks will provide a signal suitable for s-video, although of lower quality than using an actual chroma signal. Also, this b.o.b. will NOT provide RGB or VGA signals. These signals are not present on the 8 bit monitor jack.
